First, here is our definition of fad diets:
A fad diet is any diet that consists of drastically cutting down calories, skipping meals, or leaving out entire food groups. They are typically targeting people who want to lose weight without exercising ( #wewish) and promise fat loss with no effort.
Second, here are some examples of fad diets, including the ones we've tried before finding ASAP Skinny:
1. Eating no more than 300 calories per day
( We HIGHLY advise against this as it wreaks havoc on your body. And after all, we want to lose weight because we love our bodies, not to punish them.)
2. Juice Cleanses
3. Any diet that involves swapping meals for shakes or bars
4. Basically any diet that just sounds way too simple.
We get it, lifestyle changes can be really hard and fad diets are SO easy. But if you want to sustain your weight loss, you have to do it the hard way.
After all, nothing worth having comes easy.
